My wife is 37 years old. She gave birth two sons and she has been diagnosed with IBS. She was told her condition is severe. In the last 9 years no medicine helped her situation, no improvement at all. She has severe inflammation in her large bowel with colitis. There is also moderate swelling with narrowing and scar tissue in the large bowel. The doctors we visited so far believes she has IBS and it can not be inflammatory bowel disease. Her family has record of inflammatory bowel disease with colon cancer. We do not know what she can do to get better. If she can not get proper treatment for what she has I am scared that it may turn into colon cancer. We do not think she has IBS after we made a research on different types of bowel disorders. Is it possible to have her examined?
